Cheddar Cheese Quick Bread

Ingredients:

2 cups all-purpose flour
4 teaspoons baking powder
1 tablespoon sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup milk
1 large egg
2 tablespoons butter

Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease or spray a loaf pan.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, sugar, salt, and garlic powder.. Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese. Set aside.
Beat the egg, melted butter, and milk in a another bowl.
Add the liquid ingredients to the bowl of dry ingredients. Take care not to overmix; stir just until incorporated.
Fill the loaf pan with the batter by spooning or pouring it in.

Bake for 45 to 50 minutes, or until golden brown on top.
Cool the bread on a wire rack. Once cooled, remove the loaf from the pan, slice, and serve.
