Garlic and Butter Flatbread

Ingredients:

350g of flour
250g of yogurt
1 tsp of baking powder
1 tsp of salt
1 tsp of sugar
2 cloves of garlic
30g of butter

Preparation:

Make a well in the center of the bowl after sifting the flour into it. Add the yogurt, baking powder, sugar, and salt into the well. Mix the ingredients together, gradually incorporating the flour from the sides until fully absorbed.

Divide the ingredients into 8 balls after kneading it into a soft dough. Let them rest for 5 minutes.

Form each ball into a thin disk and stack them, separating each flatbread with a layer of baking paper to keep them from sticking.

Set a pan’s heat setting to medium-high (7-8). Coat the pan with a little oil, then cook each flatbread for about a minute on each side.

Once removed from the pan, generously grease each flatbread with butter and rub them with sliced garlic cloves. Alternatively, you can chop the garlic and sprinkle it over the hot, freshly made flatbreads.

Serve the garlic and butter flatbreads immediately as they tend to become harder once they cool down.
