Polish Sausage Sauerkraut and Potatoes

Ingredients:

5–6 medium-sized gold potatoes, sliced into thick pieces

16 oz. sauerkraut
1 1/2 lb. Polish sausage, cut into large pieces
1/2 cup chicken broth
1 teaspoon caraway seeds
1 bay leaf
Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

Place the sauerkraut into the bottom of a crockpot.
Layer the potatoes on top of the sauerkraut, followed by the pieces of Polish sausage.
In a bowl, combine the chicken broth, caraway seeds, and bay leaf.
Pour the broth mixture over the ingredients in the crockpot. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
After covering the crockpot, cook it on high for four hours.
Before serving, mix the ingredients well to combine the flavors.
