Best Rolls Ever

Ingredients:

3 cups flour
2 teaspoons yeast
1 cup milk
2 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 large egg
1/2 cup melted butter

Method:

In a bowl, combine yeast, 1 tablespoon of sugar, and warm milk (make sure it’s not too hot to avoid killing the yeast). Mix well and cover the bowl for 5-7 minutes to allow the yeast to activate and foam.

To the yeast mixture, add the egg, melted butter, flour, salt, and the remaining 1 tablespoon of sugar. Mix everything together until well combined.

After transferring the dough to a surface dusted with flour, knead it for ten minutes or more, or until it becomes elastic and smooth.

Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it, and put it in a warm place to rise until it doubles in size.

Punch down the dough to release the air once it has risen. Form the dough into little balls and put them in a baking tray that has been oiled.
Cover the dish and let the rolls rise for a second time.

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).

Bake the rolls in the preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes, or until they turn golden brown.

As soon as you take the rolls out of the oven, brush them with melted butter to add a delicious flavor and shine.
