Sliced Baked Potatoes Recipe

 

Ingredients:

4 medium potatoes (Russet is recommended)
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon paprika
4 to 6 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions:

Wash and dry the potatoes.
Slice each potato, making cuts no more than halfway down from side to side. You can also slice them at angles for crispier potatoes.
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a small bowl, mix together the salt, pepper, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, and paprika to create the seasoning mixture.
Make sure to coat the potatoes equally by spritzing them with olive oil.
Distribute equally the spice mixture on top of the potatoes.
The potatoes should be put on a parchment paper-lined baking pan.

Bake the potatoes in the preheated oven for 40 to 45 minutes, or until they are tender and the edges are crispy.
Take them out of the oven and allow them to cool a little.
