Ingredients:
6 tbsp Sweet Cream Butter, chilled and cut into pieces
1 cup Self-Rising Flour
1/4 tsp Salt
1/4 tsp Cinnamon
1 cup + 2 tbsp White Sugar
1 cup Whole Milk
1 tsp Pure Vanilla Extract
2 cups Fresh Blackberries
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees
Prepare a 9-inch cast iron skillet by spraying it with non-stick baking spray. Place the chilled butter pieces into the skillet.
Put the skillet in the oven and let the butter melt.
In a medium bowl, combine the flour, salt, cinnamon, sugar, milk, and vanilla extract. Stir until well mixed.
Remove the skillet from the oven (once the butter has melted) and pour the batter into the skillet.
Sprinkle the fresh blackberries on top of the batter.
Bake at 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190 degrees Celsius) for 30 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.
Serve the blackberry cobbler warm and garnish with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
