Crockpot Barbecue Ribs recipe

Ingredients

2 C barbecue sauce
2 tsp brown sugar
3 freshly mince garlic cloves
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
Four to five pounds of baby back ribs

How To Make Crockpot Barbecue Ribs

Pour the barbecue sauce, brown sugar, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, and cayenne pepper (if using) into a zip-top bag.
Close the bag and use your hands to knead and mix the sauce ingredients together well.
Open the bag and place the ribs inside.
Close the bag again and shake it to completely cover the ribs with the sauce.
Spray the inner part of the crock pot with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
Open the bag and transfer the ribs into the crock pot.
Pour half of the sauce from the bag into the crock pot, ensuring that the ribs are covered with the sauce.
Cook the ribs in the crock pot on high heat for 4 to 5 hours if you want the meat to easily fall off the bone. Cook on low heat for 9 hours if you want the meat to fall off the bone with a leaner texture. Alternatively, cook on low heat for 7 hours if you want the meat to stay on the bone but still be tender.
Serve the cooked ribs with the remaining sauce from the bag. You can also have extra sauce available on the table for individuals to add more according to their preference.
Enjoy your deliciously cooked ribs with barbecue sauce!
