Hash brown Chicken Casserole Recipe

Ingredients:

4 cups frozen shredded hash browns, thawed
2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
1 can condensed cream of chicken soup
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon dried parsley
Salt and pepper to taste
Optional toppings: crushed cornflakes, additional shredded cheese

Instructions:

Set the oven’s temperature to 350 degrees Fahrenheit, or 175 degrees Celsius. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
In a large bowl, combine the thawed hash browns, cooked chicken, condensed cream of chicken soup, sour cream, melted butter, chopped onion, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, dried parsley, salt, and pepper. Blend well until all the components are uniformly blended.
Spread the mixture into the prepared baking dish, ensuring it is evenly distributed.
If desired, sprinkle crushed cornflakes or additional shredded cheese on top for added texture and flavor.
Cover the baking dish with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes.
After 40 minutes, remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the casserole is golden brown and bubbly.
