PAULA DEEN’S 5-MINUTES FUDGE

 

Ingredients:

1 and 2/3 cups white sugar
2/3 cup evaporated milk
1 tablespoon unsalted butter
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 package (6 ounces) milk chocolate chips
16 large marshmallows
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 cup chopped nuts

Instructions:

In a saucepan, combine the white sugar, evaporated milk, unsalted butter, and salt. Stirring regularly, cook over medium heat for approximately five minutes..
Add the milk chocolate chips to the saucepan and continue stirring until the chocolate chips have melted completely. Remove the saucepan from heat.
Stir in the marshmallows, vanilla extract, and chopped nuts until well combined.
Pour the mixture into an 8-inch square pan and let it cool.
Once cooled, cut the fudge into squares and serve.
These fudge squares are a delightful treat that combines the creamy sweetness of chocolate with the crunch of nuts. The fudge is made by melting together sugar, evaporated milk, butter, and salt, and then adding in milk chocolate chips.
