Ingredients:
1 cup plus 2 tablespoons warm water
⅓ cup oil
2 tablespoons active dry yeast
¼ cup sugar
½ teaspoon salt
1 egg
3½ cups flour (bread flour or all-purpose)
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit
In the bowl of a stand mixer, combine the warm water, oil, yeast, and sugar. Allow the mixture to rest for 15 minutes to activate the yeast.
Mix 2 cups of the flour, salt, and egg into the yeast mixture using a dough hook attachment.
Add the remaining 1½ cups of flour, ½ cup at a time, mixing well after each addition, until the dough comes together and is slightly sticky.
Shape the dough into 12 balls and place them in a 9×13-inch baking pan. Give the dough ten minutes to rest.
Bake the rolls for 10 minutes or until the tops are just golden brown.
Before serving, take the rolls out of the oven and allow them to cool somewhat.
These 30-minute rolls are quick and easy to make, perfect for when you need fresh homemade rolls in a hurry. They have a soft and fluffy texture, making them a great addition to any meal. Enjoy them warm with butter or use them for sandwiches or sliders.
